TUNICA RESORTS — Memphis Street Rods and Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall (Tunica, Miss.) present the 12th Annual Delta River Cruisin’ this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24-25). See one of the most impressive collections of classic and custom cars in the Mid-South. Delta River Cruisin’ is back for its gathering of some of the coolest, fanciest, jaw-droppingly impressive hot rods, street rods and classically restored vehicles the Mid South has ever seen. The event runs through Sunday, Sept. 25. The schedule is as follows for people wanting to register a pre-1979 vehicle:
- Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning at 8 a.m., registration, kick tire, hang out and have fun.
- Sunday, Sept. 25, beginning at 11 a.m., cash prizes, drawings, plus other giveaways.
Paul Revere & The Raiders will perform on Saturday, Sept. 24. Tickets are $25 and $30 and are subject to Ticketmaster fees. Call Ticketmaster at (901) 525-1515 for visit www.ticketmaster.com to buy concert tickets. Viewing the cars is free and open to the public.
