Southland Park Gaming & Racing offers ways to help the planet on Earth Day

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Celebrate Earth Day at Southland Park Gaming & Racing and you will be immediately rewarded for helping the planet. Southland offers several different ways to celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 and help preserve our planet.
• Shred it at Southland:  From 2 to 6 p.m. at Southland's south entrance, guests can come recycle their confidential documents for free. This is open to local community businesses and Southland Park guests.
• Recycle for free play at Southland: From 2 to 6 p.m., guests can bring their aluminum cans or plastic soda bottles to recycle at Southland’s main entrance.
The more you bring to recycle, the better your chances are to win a share of $400 in free play.
• Electronics recycling at Southland: Guests can bring in old computers, televisions, cell phones and DVD players from 2 to 6 p.m. to Southland's main entrance.
• Free energy efficient light bulbs at Southland: Free energy efficient light bulbs  are available all day at player rewards, while supplies last, limit one per person, for player rewards members.
